We make and supply a limited range of reproductions of English Dial Clocks. A local craftsman makes the cases of oak, pine or mahogany, and we fit either new German movements or overhauled English fusee movements to the customer's requirements.

A popular option is for the dial to be lettered to the customer's specification - for instance with a Company name, or the names of the couple when given as a special wedding gift.

This is the simplest type, a reproduction of the traditional 12 inch dial school or office clock. Available with a range of movements from battery quartz to pendulum timepiece, this case is particularly suitable for the floating balance bell-striking movement. While this does not have the louder, slower tick of a pendulum movement, it has the advantages of being much easier to transport and set up.

These clocks are always available in red hardwood (resembling mahogany) and sometimes in oak, pine, or genuine mahogany.

The price varies accordingly, but as an example, a clock with red hardwood case and bell-striking movement would cost £295 plus delivery if required.

Only a very limited number of cases remain from the batch we had made,and these are offered with a choice of five movements: quartz, chiming quartz (surprisingly realistic), and three mechanical movements: timepiece, striking, and Westminster chiming.
